Alimosho LG Boss Hosts New Air Force CIS Depot Commander, Reaffirms Commitment to Security and Agricultural Partnership

The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has hosted the newly posted Commander of the 041 Communication Information System Depot, Shasha, Air Commodore D.U. Edet, during a courtesy visit at the council secretariat. Speaking during the visit, Air Commodore Edet explained that the purpose of the meeting was to formally introduce himself as the new head of the Shasha Air Force Base and to further strengthen the cordial relationship between the base and the local government.

According to him, โ€œWe are here on a familiarisation visit as the new head of the Shasha Air Force Base. This visit is hinged on three key objectives: to strengthen the existing relationship with the local government, to express our appreciation and seek further support for the development of our farm project, and to deepen collaboration in the area of security.โ€

The Commander further commended the Executive Chairman for his consistent support for the Air Force base and its agricultural initiatives.โ€œMr. Chairman, much has been said about you by my predecessor regarding your commitment to supporting farmers within the base. Thank you very much for your support. You are a visionary leader, and I can assure you of strong synergy for developmental purposes. We also assure you of our commitment to reciprocate, particularly in the area of security, which remains our primary responsibility,โ€ he said.

Responding, Hon.
