DR. BANJOKO IDOWU OLUDAISI

Dr. Idowu Banjoko is currently the Head of Administration of Alimosho Local Government in the Lagos State. He joined the Local Government Service in 1995 as an Education Officer and rose through the rank to become the Head of Education Department in 2003.

He attended the prestigious Ibadan Gramma DR IDOWU OLUDAISI BANJOKO, School for his secondary education. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the Ogun State University (1992), a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and two Master’s degrees in Education and Local Government Studies from the University of Lagos and the Obafemi Awolowo University respectively and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Lagos.

Dr. Idowu Banjoko is a Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (FITD); Fellow, Nigerian Association for Educational Administration and Planning (FNAEAP); and a Fellow, Chartered Public Administration (FCPA).

Dr. Idowu Banjoko has served in various capacities as the National Auditor in NAEAP and as the Secretary, Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the 38th Annual NAEAP Conference held in Lagos in 2019. He was very active in the setting up and backing of the LOC that organised the First Annual NAEAP Lagos State Chapter Symposium in May, 2022, which was a huge success. This Symposium brought the academia and the practitioners together for a common purpose-improving our educational system.

Dr. Idowu Banjoko is a visionary and an exemplary leader who has been a mentor to his junior colleagues on the job and a positive influence to both young and old, both within and outside his circle of influence. As a Trainer, he has organised training programmes for organisations for their workforce to be more productive on their jobs.

He is presently the National Secretary of NAEAP. He is married with children.
