EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN 2025
A distinguished graduate of Public Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Hon. Akinpelu is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in the same field from the University of Lagos. As the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills.
He started his early education at Government Demonstration Primary School in Surulere between 1975 and 1981, where he was a good sportsperson and an active young pupil who was bold and courageous, always asking why – due to his inquisitive nature. This early childhood trait would later be useful in his leadership positions.
Immediately after his elementary education, he enrolled in Anwar-ul-Islam College 2, later renamed Oniwaya High School, in 1984. After his secondary school education, he ventured into a technician job. With his curiosity to learn and leadership traits from childhood, furthering his education was compulsory to meet the daily leadership challenges.
He attended Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma between 2010 and 2014, where he earned a degree in Public Administration. He has attended several national and international leadership training programs in the United Kingdom and Europe.
