In a bold and people-centered move, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has officially kicked off his 100 Days in Office activities with the launch of Ounje Alimosho, a massive food intervention initiative offering essential food items at 50% discount to residents.
The program, held at the Alimosho Local Government Secretariat, Akowonjo, attracted widows, elderly citizens, youth, market women, and households who had eagerly anticipated this relief package.

The Chairman also announced that no family is allowed to buy more than ₦20,000 worth of food, and purchases must be spread across different items to discourage resale.

Delivering his goodwill message, the Leader of the Legislative Arm celebrated the initiative as a practical response to rising food prices nationwide.

He applauded the Executive Chairman, councillors, administrative officers, market leaders, and volunteers for ensuring transparency and orderliness in the distribution.
