Alimosho Local Government, under the leadership of Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has introduced a new health initiative targeted at enhancing the well-being of its workforce.

The three-day program, which kicked off during the council’s monthly staff verification exercise, is designed to provide employees with regular medical checks, ensuring they remain in good health while discharging their duties.

As part of the exercise, staff will undergo routine tests to check vital signs, including blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and other key health indicators.

The program will henceforth be conducted on a monthly basis, giving workers the opportunity to monitor their health status consistently.

Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Johnson emphasized that the scheme reflects his administration’s commitment to staff welfare.

“This program is part of our deliberate efforts to ensure the well-being of our staff.”

“Regular checks on sugar levels, blood pressure, and other vitals will not only promote healthy living but also improve productivity within the local government,” he said.
