The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has charged revenue officers to uphold integrity, professionalism and modern methods in revenue collection as a means of strengthening grassroots governance. He gave this charge while declaring open a training programme for revenue officers on Tuesday, 3rd February 2026, at the Alimosho Local Government Multi-Purpose Hall, Akowonjo.
In his address, the Chairman described revenue as the lifeblood of local government, stressing that it is critical to the delivery of essential public services such as quality road infrastructure, functional primary healthcare, improved schools, environmental sanitation, security support and empowerment programmes.
