To strengthen the ongoing e-registration of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has urged members of LASCOTA (Lagos State Council of Tradesmen and Artisans) who are APC members to mobilise en masse for the exercise.

Speaking at the Local Government Hall, the Chairman welcomed the artisans and tradesmen and commended them for honouring his invitation. He explained that the meeting was convened to sensitise party members on the importance of revalidating their membership and to encourage broader mobilisation within LASCOTA. According to him, the APC remains the party that genuinely represents the interests and aspirations of the masses.

The Chairman highlighted the inclusive governance approach of his administration, noting that since its inception, deliberate efforts have been made to touch every stratum of society. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Local Government to continue carrying everyone along through people-centred policies and programmes that deliver tangible benefits at the grassroots level.

Emphasising the strategic importance of the 2027 general elections, he called for unity, dedication, and renewed commitment to the partyโ€™s success. He stressed the need to re-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consolidate ongoing economic reforms and policy initiatives aimed at correcting past errors, addressing present challenges, and laying a solid foundation for a more prosperous future.

He concluded by encouraging LASCOTA members who are interested in joining the APC to take full advantage of the registration exercise, assuring them of adequate support to ease the process. This includes assistance with National Identification Number (NIN) challenges and other registration-related issues.
