ALIMOSHO COUNCIL CHAIRMAN DISTRIBUTES SCHOOL MATERIALS TO PUPILS IN BACK-TO-SCHOOL PROGRAMME

The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has distributed school bags, exercise books and school uniforms to pupils of Ebenezer African Church Primary School and Egbeda Primary School as part of the Councilโ€™s Back-to-School Programme.

The initiative is aimed at supporting pupils as they resume academic activities and helping to ease the educational burden on parents and guardians within the Local Government.

In a symbolic demonstration of solidarity with the pupils, the Chairman wore the school uniform and carried a school bag, just like the pupils. His gesture created an engaging and memorable moment for the children while reinforcing the importance his administration places on education and the wellbeing of pupils.

Speaking during the programme, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson disclosed that renovation works are ongoing in a section of the school and would be completed soon, further underscoring the administrationโ€™s commitment to improving the learning environment across public schools in Alimosho.

The Chairman also advised the pupils to take their studies seriously, respect their teachers and parents, remain disciplined, cultivate good character and make the most of every opportunity provided for their education. He encouraged them to dream big, work hard and remain focused on becoming responsible and successful members of society.

The Back-to-School Programme forms part of the administrationโ€™s broader commitment to education, welfare and human capital development, in line with the W.I.S.E. Agenda of the Alimosho Local Government.
